That's the real question. Fat Pat is there for as long as he wants, but could someone do better than him, or do they drop off after he leaves? Spending 255 million on a facility says they don't plan on going back to the old days.

Fitz isn't in any danger. They may be down this year but it won't last. There are some bright points. They just had one of their running backs who had 15 yards all year, ran for over 200. Yes it was against UMass but when is the last time Iowa had a 200 yard runner against anybody?

I think Fitz is the best they could ever hope for and he's not going anywhere. But if we pretend that he's gone who could they hire? My guess is it would be whoever the MAC coach flavor of the month is unless they tried to save Les Miles from Kansas.
