Parents of players are not going to want to hear the Terps coaches in their homes saying to them, "Let your son come to Maryland and play football for us!"

Maryland doesn’t get many high recruits from in-state the way it is. If you look at Maryland HS recruiting history Penn State grabs a lion’s share of them and we ain’t competing with that. Also, once Durkin and his cronies get fired (which will happen soon, Court is already gone), Maryland will have a new staff and recover from the shit sandwich they have now. It will probably even be a selling point depending on who they hire.

Won’t change the recruiting landscape much.
