Notre Dame-Michigan to end in 2014

The series was previously scheduled to be put on hold after 2017, but Notre Dame has decided to pull the plug early.

That's the point. If ND is going to go off and play "just the tip" with the ACC all B1G teams should end their series with them.

Some of the rivalries coming to an end is a shame. One of the few disadvantages I see to the upcoming playoff system.

I don't think the bowl games will completely end like some other folks think, but I've started to think that maybe some of the lower tier games will end.
