No way Thorson is 100%. With the new RB, NU could be in for a rough year.
Yeah, you're right. If Northwestern goes out and hangs 48 on Purdue and wins by 30+, they'll have a helluva shot at being right there for the West due to Wisconsin's tough schedule and Iowa being Iowa.NW offensive line looks like a joke. Playing Thorson might just get him hurt for an extended period. Purdue's defense is gonna suck this year so I would imagine NW will get a full load of running plays in. They have to break in that new RB. Maybe 30 carries.
The only way that I worry about either of these teams is if 1 goes in and dominates the other. Any contested affair will just reinforce my opinion that neither of these teams is that good and neither is a contender in the West.
NW's secondary is also going to be very thin. They are going to need some good luck and duct tape to keep it together for the full year.NW offensive line looks like a joke. I like Larkin, but it remains to be seen if he can be an all purpose every down 25-carry per game running back.No way Thorson is 100%. With the new RB, NU could be in for a rough year.
