NIU is down 1 late in the 4th to 26th ranked Utah. Maybe they aren't as bad as we made them look.

Without question. If the refs wouldn't have been in KF's back pocket all day, ISU would've won by 100.
Quick question though, was the reffing actually as bad as it looked in person? They looked very favorable to ISU to me, but could be bias on my part and those I was sitting near. I’ll have to watch this one later so I can look for that and listen to the homers from Fox.

I thought it was terrible. I thought we caught some breaks and I thought some calls went their way as well. They were really clueless, though. Spots, obvious holds, PI, just terrible.

Happy to hear we’re on the same page. When you have to overturn two huge plays for the same team we have a problem. That was a Big XII crew, right?

Yes. They have a Big 12 crew in IC and a Big 10 crew in Ames. They could've overturned a 1st down spot for ISU right before they overturned the spot that gave Iowa a 1st down.

Outside of a couple bad spots I thought it was pretty good. They missed a PI on Fant in the endzone and a PI on Ojamudia on some Clone as well. Besides those thought it was pretty good.

There were only 3 calls against Iowa that I was annoyed about. The no call on the obvious PI on Fant in the end zone. The ball being spotted an entire yard ahead of where the ISU player was tackled giving them a first down. And the bad spot for Iowa which was a half yard behind where even his elbow landed (and it's where the ball is at that point which was ahead of the elbow). For ISU the only one that sticks out was the no PI call on Ojiamuda late in the game when he put his hands on the ISU receiver prior to the ball getting there.
