And the Hawkeyes play N Florida on Monday, 12/22 at 7 pm.

UNI did beat North Florida in Cancun.

That being said, starting with Iowa State, this Friday, the Hawkeyes have
3 big tests, in a row. The Clowns, then UNI and next game is the Osprey of N Florida.
 
I am starting to get a good feeling about this team. We're still a work in progress and will be for some time. The way they came out focused against a pretty bad team after beating UNC, showed me something. It showed me this team has the capability to learn how to put the last game behind them. And maybe it is as simple as Iowa lacked this ability, last season? Anyway, I get a sense Jok is rounding into shape. I am just really starting to like this team.

I think the Hawks are grittier this season. I like grit. Physically still a little on the weak side yet. But grit can help some with that.
This next stretch may say a lot about this bunch.

They also beat Davidson and somehow defeated powerhouse George Mason at home. They've also toppled mighty Virginia Tech and B10 power Northwestern. If we stay within single digits of UNI, I will consider it a win. We're lucky they're even going to let us be on the same court as them.

Another totally predictable statement from good ol' HawkeyeMike23. After Iowa beats up on UNI, I am sure we will see an apology for this silly post.
 
Why would mike apologize for making fun of people for saying UNI is awesome if UNI loses? I think he needs to apologize if UNI beats us bad.
 
Dukie V even mentioned UNI, during the IOWA beat down of UNC.

HAHA. I'm right here with you. Ever since I saw that they are ranked last night, I been thinkin how great its gonna be to watch the Hawks blow a ranked team out of the gymnasium. They might be decent compared to usual, but no way they be ranked. They are giving teams like Virginia Tech and Northwestern too much credit.... Hawks better not make me eat my words now.
