Non Conference Schedule

Out of our 13 non conference games I believe 5 are in the NCAA Tournament as of now.

N Florida
N Dakota State
N Carolina
ISU
UNI

Texas is on the bubble and Syracuse is not eligible. Am I missing anyone?

Aside from Texas, I think those not already in are definitely out, so if we end up with 6 out of 13, that has to compare favorably with almost any other P5 team.

It sucks that Texas as Syracuse fell apart. Too bad they didn't start slow and finish strong.

We are so much better than we were at the beginning of the year. I would love to play both again, as well as UNI and ISU. I think we would take care of Texas, 'Cuse, and UNI in a rematch. ISU though would be tough for us a beat, as they are a bad matchup for Iowa if you ask me. Either way I would be happy to face ISU again as it means we are winning NCAA games!

That's a pretty good non-conference schedule.. We just need to avoid so many 300+ RPI opponents when we're not playing top 50-100 teams.

I'm glad NDSU and North Florida got in. Good job scheduling this year for the most part. I'd like to see one more Home and Home vs a Power 5. Other than that, no complaints.

I am glad NDSU and North Florida got in as well. I really believe our season turned around for the better after the North Florida coach's press conferences after that game. I really do.

It would be nice to see them upset someone in the opening round, but I suspect they will be in a play-in game and if they win that, their "reward" will be Kentucky or Virginia...

At least they have a chance to win the Play-in game...

And I think it's really 6 out of 12. Syracuse isn't eligible...and may very well have won a few more if they were playing for something.
