Noah Fant

He looks the part and we're going to need him. I liked seeing him and Wadley lined up wide. At least they're trying something new.

fant really showed his athleticism on the incomplete pass in the end zone. great hops and body control to try and lean over the defender. i noticed on the reply that if he had caught the ball in the air, his left foot did come down in bounds.

Really liked Fant's HS tape and thought he had tools to be a H/move-TE his first year; nice to see him earning some reps. Iowa has slowly worked him into the offense and if Kittle is dinged, he may be needed sooner rather than later. Doesn't look physical enough to hold up as an in-line TE but he's a match-up problem for nearly any LB or S he'll face. Should be a fun guy to watch the next 3.5 years

We joke about it on here, but blocking is probably the biggest learning curve for TE, RB, and WR from hs to college.

A littlemore bulk, Fant looks to be a good one.
