no matter what Stanley has looked great!!

There is a ton of stuff to complain about in Iowa's performance today. But Nathan Stanley in his first road game isn't one of them. He's a talent for sure.
 
When Stanley learns to put a little air under the ball on the long passes he is going to be something extra special. Now the secondary needs to improve.
 
Agree completely. He never looked like he doubted it. Made the throws when he had to.
 
I don't think it's so much that he looked great as he didn't make any major mistakes. The line has had better outings. But we may have a very good QB in training right now. 6 (7?) TDs in two games. Not bad!!
 
Those two throws he made in OT were hard, fearless, and right on the money. You can't teach a young QB to play that fearlessly in a huge spot. Either they do or they don't.
 
For a first time player he is looking good.. however not sure about the "no matter what"

He missed a few wide open TD's.

He looks good on the intermediate stuff just hast o learn to give those deep receivers a chance.

Did you watch the same game I watched? Other than poise... he couldn't connect on any deep ball. Still throwing balls into the dirt and behind people. Like I said I give him much props for the poise he showed I am sure he will be a good QB over the next couple of years. This is just going to be a painful growing process

Are you kidding me. 5 passing TDs. great throws. you are nuts. he threw some in the dirt when he had rushers in his face but he didnt take a sack or throw and INT. YOu are more than nuts. You couldnt grade a QB if you had to. Long balls are all hard to connect with. The stop and go to Imir Smith where smith had to make a slight second studder step to get inside position on the db caused the over throw. Watch the game and the replays and learn
