Nico Ragaini Leading Iowa Receiver Room

This story feels like a copy-paste of a story that could have easily been written this time last year.

Just update 5th season to 6th season, and update Spencer Petras to Cade Mac. Presto! You got a new story ready to go.

Maybe, but I suspect we all hope that this is a meaningful update going from Petras to McNamara!

NIco is 50 catches away from Iowa's all-time receptions record. If he stays healthy, does he get it?

I had to look it up. KMM has the record at 174, DJK had 173, and McNutt has 170.

LaPorta is 5th with 153 catches and is the top TE.

You could've given me eternity and I wouldn't have guessed that Kevin Kasper is in 4th place. When I thought about it, it didn't surprise me, but haven't heard that name since Shep was a pup.

Didn't Kasper get 80 catches in his last season? That had to help his totals.

I would guess the odds of Nico getting 50 catches in his last season are pretty low, but not impossible, I guess. But if he does that probably means Kaleb Brown and Lachey are successfully drawing attention from opposing defenses. Or it means everybody else got hurt and Nico was the only guy they could throw to.

Yep. Kasper and McNutt have the record with 82 catches.
