Rutgers hired his dad as its DC yesterday. He held the same position at NIU.

I asked Nick if that impacted his recruitment at all.

For clarification: Nick Nieman (2016 recruit and brother to Ben Nieman) is solid with his commitment, despite his father Jay Nieman taking the DC position at Rutgers. Jay was previously DC at Northern Illinois.

Iowa City is nice and all but when this kid gets to visit Piscataway and experience "Scarlett Knight Magic" and their gameday atmosphere it will be hard for him to say no.

Especially if they have recruiting visits like Louisville.
