I just got back home from the game and I thought for sure my cats would lose after your offensive coordinator dialed up some of the best scoring drives I've ever seen against our stellar defense. The weather conditions were pretty bad and wreaked havoc on our offense, but we were able to overcome that to score just enough to win.
Thankfully, the cheap shot on Persa didn't occur until our last offensive play so it didn't hurt us too badly.
You guys had a lot of fans at the game, it almost looked like an Iowa home game and they were all very well behaved. I'm glad we're in the same division next year, as I think our rivalry with Iowa, although a little lopsided in our favor the past few years, is one of the best rivalries in the Big Ten.
As for next week, if I were OSU's coaches, I'd be really worried about your defense bottling up Prior because Persa was contained for most of the day and he is better than Prior. I think you guys will probably win that game pretty big, but I kind of hope you lose so that we can get the Outback Bowl again or the Gator Bowl and you guys go to the Texas Bowl.
