Next Set of Media Loves?

With Tebow, Mccoy, and Bradford all gone...

Who are the next group of players to get all of the Media attention, which in turn makes it hard to watch TV because they are talked about every 10 freaking seconds?

You left out "Brett Favre"...oh wait, that's the NFL and still going on...

Hmm...not so much a player, but a team...Boise State, since they'll be a top 10 team to start the season next year...I'm not sure if we'll ever see "the next Tebow"...but I'm sure ESPN will dig one up.

LOL... Brett Favre... I did forget him... Boise State... thats a great call... my guess however is that Matt Barkley or the new QB at Notre Dame.. possibly Pryor now that hes out of the shadows... in either case they will fall in love with someone and over hype him...

its too bad college football wont allow Topps, Beckett, or Fleer who ever is still around to make college football cards... cause Tebows would be up there with Michael Jordan's as far as price goes.. his NFL card im going to give to my niece to put in the spokes of her bike

Good call on Barkley...with Pete Carroll leg humpin' him for the next 2-3 years ESPN is sure to jump on board!

Terrell Pryor after the Rose Bowl performance he had and probably Matt Barkley out at USC. Pryor hasnt really shown anything other than he is a hell of a runner in my opinion. fOSU is not set up like Michigan or others that run the spread option where Pryor would be the most comfortable. ESPN will be all over fOSU this year with all the talent they have back......

The sentiment is the same here. It is unfortunate how much ESPN will over-glorify/over-expose certain players or teams. Tebow being the most recent case. However, I will say that even though I am tired of hearing about Tebow every five seconds, I will say this. He was what college football has needed for a long while: an actual role model student athlete. At his time at Florida, he was able to accomplish so much not only on, but off the field as well. He is obviously a good kid with a good head on his shoulders and does deserve commendment for that, but the fact that ESPN has "overTebowed" the college football media, it has grown a form of resentment for the guy outside of Gainesville....not to mention he played for Florida. Gotta wish him the best in the pros.
