Don't know how different these are since I haven't watched them but here they are.

Not surprised by all the verbals for Iowa right now considering for most of them Iowa is their best offer. It's a MAC offer heavy class so far but Kirk is great at finding a diamonds in the rough. But if Davis says Iowa needs to upgrade their recruiting then need to start beating out the big boys instead of Bowling Green (although we lost one to them), Ball State and Akron

That makes a lot of sense, since Iowa picked up a DB commit a few days ago.

Two things going on here. First. If we are just going by stars, Iowa only has five 4* recruits left on the board, and I don't think we stand extremely high with any of them. It makes sense that Iowa is pushing hard to get that next level of recruit before other schools begin to push for them.

Second, these are early offer/commits. It's not like these are fallback recruits. Iowa offered early because they thought there was something about them worth offering.

He does look Shipley-esuqe at generating yac and the school's scheme looks like what Texas put out there with McCoy. That said, KF and Eric Campbell are totally fearless with these early accepts...they give 2 hoots who else offered.

Looks like he catches the ball with his hands, had to go up and get it a couple time’s as well...on O & D both. Looks versatile and physical enough to play D as well so that makes him a pretty typical Iowa type recruit.

Sounds like he had a great camp here recently doing 7 on 7, more offers to come I’d guess.

He looks like a slot WR. I don't think the old regime targeted slot-type WRs. They seemed to prefer taller, big-bodied guys that could play on the outside. Outside of KMM, we probably don't have a single slot-type guy on the team. I think Davis runs a lot more 3-Wr sets, and likes to have a small-quick guy working the middle. I wouldn't be surprised if we start specifically recruiting for this position (kind of like the NFL specifically drafts for slot WRs and slot CBs).
