Thanks. Not sure where Diamond was before on the rivals.com list but, that seems low for his reputation. Ward, and Jaleel, happy about them. They may come in play as redshirt frosh(want to redshirt those linemen when possible). Love to get them all, of course, but of the non-commits it seems we have the best chance with Kozan, McDonald, and Garmon. Obviously, it's a real fluid situation. My "dream" remainders would be Garmon, Faith E., Diamond, Severin, Lambert, and McDonald. Getting "just" three of them would make me happy.

If you are going to get highly ranked guys, you'd love to get them on your line. That's impressive to have 2 guys like you do with the possibility of more.

I'm guessing Ward projects as a tackle?

I wonder where Blake Larson and Dan Doering rated on that list?

Doering was #27 in '05. Larsen was pre-Rivals online days, but he was widely considered the #1 OL prospect in the country, which would make him a top-15 overall player in most classes.

I definitely think Ward could project as a RT, but I'm not sure he has the length to play the LT spot. I could see him at guard or tackle. He is exceptionally mobile for a kid that is as large as he is and as young as he is. I think he will do very well if he can stay injury free.

Gregory committed to Ark and we don't have a shot at O'Brien do we?

Yes, Gregory (not Rivals250, but Rivals #11 Dual-Threat QB) committed to Arkansas yesterday.

Some think O'Brien is a silent verbal to Michigan or at least a lean, and while I don't think we'll end up landing him, I don't think we're out of it by any means.

I think from the sounds of it Garmon and McDonald are the most legitimate possibilities on your dream list. It does appear we're in Ekakitie's top 4 along with Georgia Tech., Oregon and BC. The other one I hold out hope for is Lambert.

FYI-Garmon's saying he's going to visit UM for this weekend's game against WMU.

I'd love to get Lambert. LB, is probably my favorite unit, but as a MLB type not sure we'll have the ready PT for that position. Maybe they envision him moving to Nielsen spot till Morris leaves.

I imagine he would redshirt, play ST and be a backup for a year, and compete for PT as a soph. If he's more ready than that out of the gate or there's an injury issue, he might play right away (a la Morris last year), but I never like to expect a player to play as a true frosh before they get to campus.
