Since there are so many people who think Iowa is not in the field of 68 I do not think Meatman's poll covers all the basis. Plus I would like this poll to be where we can all look back on an see how many people either really missed or nailed it. So vote wisely as everyone will be able to see the results.

According to many bracketologists, 11 seeds are playing in the "First 4". I believe Joe L had 6 total 11 seeds, four of which were participating in the "First 4". That would put Iowa in two categories in your poll, solidly in and barely in.

I said yesterday and still feel like Iowa will be an 11 seed. I hope its not in a First 4 game.

I think if it were a fair system, we'd probably be a play-in or just miss (i.e. NIT), but in reality we'll be in the 10 range (and I hope the players recognize what a gift this is and make the most of it - send '14 out with a bang)

Pretty confident we get a 10. Worst draw would be the 8-9 seed, don't get me wrong would be happy with anything but prefer a 10 to the 8 or 9 spot.

I'm thinking a 10 seed as well. Teams on the bubble going into the conference tourneys did nothing to up their stock and bump teams ahead of them. Last week's projections pretty much stayed in tact. Regardless of where they go Hawks will have a competitive teams to play in the 1st round. Lundardi as of this morning has them playing Gonzaga with a Duke matchup in the next round. CBS Sports as of this morning has them playing Texas with a Louisville matchup in the next round.

That's fine, then vote the barely in option. Not sure what seeds they will use for the first round games, it is possible they use the 11 seed in the past they have used the 12 and 13 seeds.

That's a lot to expect from this group of players. As in there's no justification to support the idea that they possess said mentality.

I find it hilarious that the ones trolling us with the idea of Iowa not making the tournament refuse to participate in this poll.

Look at Minnesota last season. 15-1 and #8 then a complete collapse losing 11 of its final 16 and losing first round of BTT to Illinois. Got in as an 11. Iowa is in.
