New Pitt coach already canned: Should be recruiting implications

Given how hard that Iowa has been recruiting guys in western PA and against the Pitt program in general ... I look for the Hawks to "swoop" in and legitimately push for the services for a number of them.

I'd also look for continued uncertainty at Michigan to potentially help out Iowa too.

Unfortunately, I think that UNC's win in their bowl game could end up reaping them some recruiting rewards too. They've been competing against us for a number of those same guys too ... and they offer the benefits of a warmer climate.

Kind of hoping that Pitts decides to come to Iowa, not only because I think he is good but maybe that would put Iowa in better position for Jefferson and Price.
