It sounds like we played a lot of nickel yesterday. Also, it seems like Bernstien is going to be the nickel back, playing over the slot WR as sort of a safety/cb hybrid. Bernstien's health/emergence combined with our personnel changes at LB might mean we are going to see this package more often. I like it for 3rd-and-longs and against some spread teams. Bernstien appears to be the perfect DB to use for a base Nickel package, physical against the run and can play coverage better than a LB.
