New Hawkeye football book

There's a new Hawkeye book in the Borders store in Ames. It's called "Hawkeye Greats, By the Numbers" and profiles the greatest athlete to wear each jersey number. They have a web site you can order it from (singlewingpress.com). Gary Dolphin wrote the foreword and it's licensed by the University. It's a really sharp looking book.

That sounds very cool. Great timing with Christmas and all. Does it just refer to jersey numbers or does it involve any special scores?

Just jersey numbers. Players all the way from 1921 to 2009 are represented, with honorable mentions listed at each number also.
