What if we didn't have Kirk? What if we got somebody else and he had mediocre success? Maybe a couple less bowl games, only one shared Big Ten title, no BCS games, but still an okay run. It seems like in the last 7-8 years there's been a couple new facilities and the stadium renovations. I can't remember what all has been done, but it seems like with Kirk here, we've been able to fill seats better and get more money, and thus, build better facilities, which can only help the program down the road.

Its awesome that the Hawkeys are getting a boot in facilities, Nebraska is getting a boos too. The East Stadium is getting overhauled to be done by 2013, should be an awesome venue for both stadiums once its all done.

Kinnick is still behind the curve with luxury suites compared to other top programs.

A good way to catch up somewhat would be to redo the north endzone by going more steep on the vertical and closing the corners.

That would also help trap in the sound.

CAAR, what are some good places in Iowa City? I wonder if the Nebraska and Iowa game will always be at 11AM on Black Friday? It's also ironic that our last foes on this day each year also wore Black and Gold.....Go figure
