Love to see big rebound and steal numbers, those tend to speak to athleticism, as well as a willingness to do dirty work.
I am in Iowa City, so I was able to watch Matt Gatens and Ally Disterhoft in-person in HS. Both had great perimeter skills, and would have been well within their rights to spend all their time on the outside. But both were willing to use their size and athleticism to go inside and bang when it was to their teams' advantage. I think that is a good sign.
