Did you notice that 2014 BIG additions Maryland blew out Big 12 West Virginia 37-0 while Rutgers edged SEC's Arkansas, 28-24?

Maryland is 4-0 while Rutgers is 3-1.

I couldn't believe the Maryland score. Maybe they are building something over there. One thing is for sure, the Big 12 is really crappy this year.

Yet one of the "best" teams in the Big 12, Oklahoma struggled to beat them 16-7. Yeah, the Big 12 sucks.

Oklahoma was figuring out their QB, and they are on a tier with ISU, Kansas, and KSU. They are far from the best and could turn out to be the worst.

Oklahoma is on the same tier with ISU, Kansas, and KSU? Wow, that mean literally half the conference (through in WVU) is absolutely horrible. I assume you think Texas is a step up? They got killed by BYU and a middle of the road SEC team. TCU...they may be ok I guess, but already has 2 losses. Texas Tech? hard to say. Better than last year, but average at best I would say. I'll give you Baylor. They seem to be pretty good. Okie Light has only played Lamar??? and Texas-San Antonio, so who knows. In summary, the Big 12 sucks.

Meant WVU is on a tier with those 3 teams.

Big 12 and Big 10 are both bad. Michigan barely beat UConn who lost to Towson and is 0-3. Baylor and OSU should be good, TCU and TTU are questionable, OU and Texas have talent but Texas has sucked, and then there's the other 4. Lots of rookie QB's in the Big 12 this year, they were due for a down year with how good the league has been the past few years. Only the top SEC teams reload, everyone else has to rebuild from time to time.

Big 10 is certainly not anything to brag about this year either. No idea what's up with Michigan. But the Rodents and Purple Cats are undefeated!! #juggernaut

Here's some perspective on WVU:

Disappointment of the week: West Virginia. In a 37-0 defeat to Maryland in Baltimore, the Mountaineers suffered their first shutout loss in 12 years and worst shutout loss in 38 seasons. The offense looks to be in complete disarray, as the Mountaineers completed just one pass to a receiver all game and had almost as many penalty yards as offensive yards in the first half. Coordinator Shannon Dawson said West Virginia needs to figure out an offensive identity. But what could that be? The Mountaineers can’t complete passes and can’t open lanes for running backs Dreamius Smith or Charles Sims, either. Things don’t get any easier. Conference favorite Oklahoma State travels to Morgantown, W.Va., this weekend.

Joining the Big Ten coupled with facilities improvements Rutgers could turn into the next Penn State. They have already started keeping the local talent home and if that trend continues they will be very good.
