New Assistants' Salaries...

Not so fast my friend. Polasek was an OC so he can command a higher salary.Get off your libtard high horse.

Insert race card...

So, it's all about race. It's not about a former offensive coordinator taking a job as a position coach (what could be considered a step down)? It's not about a position coach taking a job as a position coach (what could be considered a lateral move)?

Copeland's salary went from $94,000 to $225,000. Nice increase for a "lateral move". Polasek's salary went from $132,000 to $325,000 for the "step down".

It's hard to believe....but I think KFs first contract salary when he got here in 1999 was around $500k....the same amount that a QB coach now commands. TV money does wonders! :)

Because those contracts KF received afterward were cost of living adjustments.:)

I think one has a lot more experience than the other. They both have plenty to work for.

Great hires. These guys know if they do the job the big Pay Day is there...either at Iowa or elsewhere. I'm sure there are incentives for wins, bowls, etc too. Tripling your salary is great...but he also doesn't have to live in N. Dakota any longer. I'm sure there is a family relocation package and all that too. Although he may miss the view to Russia from N. Dakota.

Polasek has more of a resume than Copeland. Copeland is essentially one step beyond a GA. This is a big step for both of them.
