LOL. Nebraska Football Schedule. Hey Scott Frost...maybe you should avoid pissing off the league with your grandstanding egocentric press conferences.

Enjoy everyone. If things go south early and those first two are looking like they could be beatdowns...then at the Fighting Fitzgeralds, and Penn State. Seriously...this could be a 1-7 season. Better put on your big boy pants Scotty.

Oct. 24 at Ohio State
Oct. 31 Wisconsin
Nov. 7 at Northwestern
Nov. 14 Penn State
Nov. 21 Illinois
Nov. 27/28 at Iowa
Dec. 5 at Purdue
Dec. 12 Minnesota

I see us going 6-2 with that schedule. Not bad at all. And honestly, I could see two 6-1 teams going into that last weekend. Wiscy vs. Iowa for all the marbles. And it is at our house.

HAHA at Nebby. They re the ugly step child of the B1G and should be treated as such.

The Golden Goofs are going to be in the hunt too. Good match up to start...but Nov 14 looms large. At Wisconsin looms large.

Oct 24 Michigan

Oct 31 at Maryland
Nov 7 at Illinois
Nov 14 Iowa
Nov 21 Purdue

Nov 28 at Wisconsin
Dec 5 Northwestern
Dec 12 at Nebraska
Dec. 19 vs. TBD

You know...no fans is really going to be interesting. Going into an Iowa or Penn State for a road game, was a bitch...due to crowd noise and energy in the stadium. If a teams head is right...this is going to be about energy within the team and talent. Crowd noise isn't going to effect execution...especially on offense.

Ahhhhhh college football season, my favorite time of the year. Leaves are colorful, there's a coolness and crispness in the air as our girlfriends or wives snuggle closer to us and man caves ablaze with the sounds of cheering and cursing, lol.

If over two hundred players can stand together and twenty-two at a time can push up against each other hoofing and breathing all over each other, I like the odds of basketball season going forward also.

Well if you can test everyday and isolate any positives then you can do this kind of thing.

And if all your players and personnel dont do a lot of social NOT distancing.

Well I am sure Nebby was due to play those teams at those venues but both OSU and PSU and Wisconsin early so that Nebby could easily be 0-4 and maybe 1-3 at the best to get to the halfway point of the season. Couldnt happen to a bigger bunch of bugeaters (I have nothing against the players but Frost their Admin are crazy).

I just got back from The Dells and a morning of basketball and this morning it read 36° on the car thermometer and there were patches of frost on the ground.

If that doesn't get you pumped for football I don't know what would. They also had a 5k or something starting at Just A Game and it would have been a glorious day for that as well.

Here's a short writeup on the new schedule with the potential for games being moved to Fridays:

I thought Rondale Moore at Purdue had opted out this season to prepare for NFL draft, although I believe players can still opt back in as long as they did not hire an agent.

Regardless, I think its good for Iowa to play Purdue early because its a young team that could get dangerous with more experience. On the other hand Iowa has lost some NFL talent from its secondary and Purdue is just the type of team that could take advantage of that.

You could also say its better to play MSU early because it has a new coach but I have a hunch that MSU will bad all year this year.

Weird season. Covid injuries and new qb makes predictions impossible. Gonna say, 6 - 2, but could easily be 3 - 5 if the wrong players get sick at the wrong time.

Yeah this is a year we are really going to rely on the whole "Next man in". We may get to see Deuce Hogan though, which would really be cool.
