Never thought the basketball team would lose first

Would any body in the world have thought that the Iowa men's basketball team would lose before the Iowa football team? I would say probably not. Certainly not I. How did we lose at home to a D2 school? Thankfully the bigger question is: How is our football team still undefeated?

Exhibition...doesn't count...so it didn't "really" happen...

Both teams are still undefeated. The basketball team just had their equivalent of an open practice. Most years that practice session would have been behind closed doors.

Sounds like they caught us cold and we were sloppy. Better to lose now then in the season.

It could be a struggle this year,don't think they will be as good as last year.
