NCAA waives win requirements for bowl eligibility for 2020 season

Remember when this happened back in September...the waving of win requirements? I immediately started a thread saying Nebraska would be happy because it would allow them to finally get to a bowl game with a losing record. The thread was started in jest and poked fun at them using the COVID season to finally snap their NON Bowl Season streak.

Well...sometimes parody becomes reality. Scott Frost wants to go to a bowl game at 3-5, after an impressive win over Rutgers.

What a joke Nebraska is now. They should fire that tool immediately.

Nebraska Fan posts on their 3-5 team:

Nebraska's defense in the last four games has now allowed third-down conversions on just 13 of 53 tries (25.5%). That's, like, best-in-the-country level success from the Blackshirts.

And to think we were worried about the d- line this year. The young bucks held up pretty this year! Gotta love the future. Stille is a beast! He will be missed.

Scott Frost going for it around mid-field with 2 minutes to go, is my favorite coaching decision & play call Scott Frost has ever made. Win, lose or draw...Finally, no fear of failure.

Nebraska has touchdown drives of 90, 96, and 92 yards in the 2nd half tonight. They are the first FBS team with three 90-yard drives in a single half this season.

Somehow...on those last three...they forgot they were playing Rutgers...oh how the mighty have fallen.

prior to that 4th down play, I thought this is a stupid decision...you have the lead, just protect it. But it worked out. Showing my IOWA mindset I guess

Yeah if your defense is playing hot and well like nebby was in the 2nd half you probably should punt
