Just some thoughts:

Should Washington have made the NCAA tournament? 14-4 conference season. The selection committee almost treated the Pac 12 like it was the Ivy League this year. If you didn't win the conference tournament you weren't getting in. Only two teams made it of course- Cal (a play in #12 seed) and Colorado (who won their tournament, #11).

Do you really believe the PAC 12 is the 10th best conference in the country?
Behind the Missouri Valley?

If you buy into the computer rankings then how did Tennessee get a #1 seed in the NIT and Oregon a #3 when Oregon is 23 places ahead in the RPI rankings?
How did Arizona get the #1 seed when they are 13 places lower than Oregon and 20 places lower in SOS? and lost to Oregon only time they played them.

Do people really believe Iowa is the 131st best team in the country? Behind Tennessee St., Kent St., and Norfolk St. to name a few. 29 places below Yale? Yale?
8-10 in the best conference in the country. Good thing the NIT didn't think they were 131st.

With an apparent victory over LSU, Oregon is now 7-2 in their last 9 and 12-4 in their last 16.

I think it will be a tough challenge on their home floor. But wait, those victories were against crappy Pac 12 teams. Never fear.

Oregon looking scary good tonight. And I don't mean Singler, who just looks plain scary... But yea, tough matchup, Ducks should be in the NCAA tourney. I hope we have some time to prepare, and hopefully facing MSU 2x helps somehow.

Just don't know how good LSU really was but yes, Oregon looked good and very weird that only two teams from Pac 12 made it to the Dance.

Even more weird that 11 was their highest seed.

Who you kicking out to make room for Washington? Iona was probably the last one in and they obviously showed they deserved to be there. I think Drexel makes a better case to be in than Washington. The Pac12 was awful this year and Washington did lose by 20 at home to South Dakota State.

That is the problem. But I probably would have taken them ahead of both Iona and BYU.

BYU only had one or two quality wins this year. I know you will argue the same for Washington. But placing first in the regular season should still count for something, even in a weakened Pac 12.
The RPI is far from perfect or even all that accurate. If so, Iowa would have never gotten a sniff at 131. We all know we are better than 131 and losing to Campbell in November shouldn't hold so much weight.

You could say the same about Washington losing to SDakota St in December.
