I think we only threw 23 passes, should we have passed more?. Please correct me or give the correct numbers but Nate finished 14-23 I think. He had 7 incompletions and I think 5 or 6 were in the first qtr. That is like 13 for 17 or about that for the first 3 qtrs.
Nate needs to finish the 4th qtr in big games like this and I hope he will, he did against ISU this year and the 2nd half of NIU game. I like most everything about him except his mobility (CJ and a Tate with some wheels could have made a few plays with their feet yesterday).
I think we should have had some more pass plays against their stacked box defense and targeted the TEs more and Easley seemed to be able to get open on some slot throws.
