My take OC:

After hearing the KF presser on the radio, I think it is clear that the OC is not Erb. KF made a statement about Sp Tms being coached by Wilson and Erb and that tells me Erb is not going to be OC. This actually could be an outside hire. I think Brian F. is in, though.

Any guess on the top ten program that offered Phil P. a coord job?

The reason I think it has a chance to be BF is that's what it will take to get him back to Iowa. Let's face it. He isn't going to leave his position in NE to become offensive line coach at Iowa, at least I don't expect him to.

Not unless he wants to someday take over for his Dad. ;)

It seriously would be the perfect move.

If his last name wasn't Ferentz, nobody would want him anywhere near the Iowa program.

Kinda like all the people that wanted Keno Davis hired to replace Lick. Thank God that didnt' happen.

I know, right? Who would want the guy who coached on a super bowl team, in one of the best run organizations in NFL history, and was a position coach for the most successful group at that position in NFL history. He is just lucky his last name is Ferentz...

Seriously, KF is not bringing his 28/29 year old son into be the OC. OL coach, yes. OC, no. Look for this to be Campbell or an outside hire.

If NE is considering giving Brian some play calling duties....why is it stupid for a college program to do the same thing? For the record I think it will be Soup.

belicheck (sp) has already given the oc job back to mcdaniels. i dont think brian will have any playcalling at ne.

You have to ask this after the fallout from Kirk promoting a man to DC who had been in the program for 13 years????

I stand by my statement. If Brian's last name wasn't Ferentz, very few Hawk fans would have heard of him, and even fewer would want him on Iowa's staff.

I believe the opposite is true.

Completely disagree. I think if his name wasn't Ferentz people would be thinking that a TE coach who played OL in college under a great OL coach who just went to the super bowl!!!!!!Awesome hire for OL coach.
