I love this team and am loving every game. However I feel like as the season progresses, the teams ceiling inches lower and lower. It might have crashed a whole floor lower last night. This team seems to lack a consistent go to leader. I know it's college basketball, so it's a game of momentum and hot streaks depending on the night. The natural leaders of the team seem to be Marble and White. However both guys, especially marble who I think is the best potential scorer, seem skiddish when a big possession comes up.
Going 11 deep is great and makes for awesome basketball to watch, but it seems like we have 11 decent and okay players. No great players. Which means we can dominate middle of the road B1G teams, but you'll never win against top tier teams with legitimate stars, except on rare occasions where someone catches extreme fire.
I'm enjoying the ride, but slowly becoming more realistic. Which sure beats the hell out of the complete apathy of the lick years.
