My biggest concern for NU game

Northwestern is a truly awful basketball team. Iowa on a neutral court with unbiased officiating is 15-20 points better than them. However, they have now beaten Illinois and Purdue at home. A funny thing happened when conference play started. In non-con, Collins had tried to take Carmody's scrub players and run an up tempo system similar to what Fran has installed at Iowa and it was awful. But then once he got blown out a few times in conference play, he figured out how to play the game the Big Ten way and he has gone to the ol' Bo Ryan system and he is keeping teams way down in scoring with a plethora of hand checks and holds. And lo and behold, he is getting the same degree of deference and leeway that Bo and Izzo get just a few games into his career. It is sickening.

Again, we're objectively 15-20 points better than NU, but the zebras can keep this one close and if they do, it ain't gonna be pretty. I think we will win, but if guys get held all over the floor like Illinois and Purdue did, I could see us losing some dog crap battle like 53-51 or something.

I mentioned in another thread that I didn't slit my wrists after last night's game.. Not the end of the world. However, I have my razor blades ready in case what you fear about the NU game comes to pass...... (Yes, I am just joking)

Iowa cannot, MUST NOT, lose this game.

Iowa has not lost back to back games all season. Iowa has far more talent than NW. I have no concerns whatsoever.
