They have not been blowing out Big Ten teams but they refuse to lose also. Iowa's comeback to get within 3 pts was nice,but MSU lives in that territory and just shrug and win the game.
Saturday vs Minny,they were down most of the game, but at crunch time come from behind.
Tonite, same deal at Michigan. Blue playing to save their season, controlling the game, but in the last seconds, MSU plays huge, with Lucas cooly hitting the game winning jumper in a great move to get open ...just standard stuff for MSU.
MSU is going to win the Big Ten going away this year once again, and the rest of the pack will be fighting like hell to make the tourny. Lotta 8-9 loss teams in the league this year at the end,hoping to make the tourny.
NW hung in there well vs Minny tonite, but in the end just too much Hoffarber. Guy hit 3 huge guarded threes in the last 2.5 minutes. He is keeping minny alive for a tourny bid with his great shooting this year.
This loss is not fatal to NW but they have to upset some teams at home and beat Iowa and IU on the road. They might do it, they play with good poise this year. Lot of belief in themselves..
