LOVED watching that Iowa vs Colorado in Sioux Falls, SD!
November and December attendance and atmosphere, at Carver Hawkeye Arena, has been awful!
Part of that are the teams we are playing and part of it is every game being televised.
It's been ages, but I remember that NIT game, in 1995 at Moline, Illinois, with Iowa vs Depaul.
That atmosphere was great! I wish that game was on YouTube, because there was great energy from that crowd.
Obviously, we need to schedule better games.
Southern Utah vs Iowa at the Taxslayer (formerly, iWireless) Center would fall flat.
But, Northern Illinois at Iowa on December 29th.
Carver will be lucky to have 5,000, in attendance, and the atmosphere will be dead.
This game would be a perfect game to play in Moline, where you'd have 10,000 passionate fans, and would be another satellite-type, home court.
