in any new coach is that he can bring in a PG and true center. With Cole and Larson we should be good at the 4. Fuller, May, and McCabe should be good at the three, Gatens, Brust, and Marble should be OK at the 2.

If you could get a big and someone to take over for or at least spell Payne, the Hawks could compete next year.

A true center no doubt. Like the days of Evans, Reiner, Hansen, big guys who can block shots, rebound and get some type of position to be a factor inside. A true PG would be nice too, but with Payne he will get better for sure. another would be nice

We only have one scholly...so I say pg or a quick combo guard is paramount.
We have a lot of big guys...Brommer,Archie,Cougill,Cole,Larson,Fuller...good depth if not true center superstars...I am more worried about our perimeter quickness,defense and ball handling. Payne is still the only true guard on the roster right now. Gatens is more of a spot up small forward,and May is a driving/spot up small forward.
Marble is a baby..like 17 yrs old,and Brust is undersized and of average quicks...and even Cully is average quicks,with spotty defense.
We need two guards right away,imo, if a scholly opens up. A pg and a true ball-handling combo guard...hopefully both can defend.
