A loss to Wisc. is tough for us who live in a bordering city where alot of cheeseheads invade our state everyday to work. They will be proudly displaying their love for the badgers tomorrow... When I go to work tomorrow i will not make any excuses, the better team one.. I will still hold my head high cause I love the Hawks but am very disappointed that the series won't continue.

I agree, I have lived in the Dubuque area my whole life and I have experienced the same situation. I can't say that I have a problem with the Badger fans sticking out their chests a bit at work on Monday as I would do the same if the roles were reversed. I just wish we could get over the hump and finish off close games like the Arizona and yesterdays Badger game. We will just have to keep our chins up and hope for a win over MSU.

I'm a Cyclone fan in Eastern Iowa, trust me, you learn to deal with idiots from an opposing fanbase. My entire work week is filled with jabs from Hawkeye homers. Well, most work weeks, I have a feeling I won't be hearing much this upcoming Monday - Friday.

On a side note, what a rough way to lose a game, I actually felt bad for my Hawkeye friends - which could quite possibly be a first.

Although quite the jab... very funny! It makes me feel better about ACTUALLY being happy Iowa State beat Texas. I was happy Iowa State won a game- that could possibly be a first too!
