I'm most excited to see all the young guys that got their first big playing time last year and are hopefully going to be much improved this year. There's a bunch of them.
Yeah it would be nice to have it in the bag by the half, then we could see some game time for the new guys this year as well. Plus it would be huge to get some snaps for next year's qb. Build depth!

I guess there's two ways you could interpret what I said. I was thinking more along the lines of guys who last year were new starters or often used backups, that will often make a big step forward the next year.
I got what you were saying.
I agree it would be great to see them make a huge step forward. If they do, maybe we can see some other new guys and get them rolling.
It's just nice in the non cons to bag it and get some pt for others that you are going to need sooner or later. Plus when you are like OSU and up 28-3 at the half, you should have some room to do it in the 4th.
I just hope our guys look sharper than a couple of other teams in our conference have looked. Get off to a fast and good start for the season.
