Offense: 47.5% overall, 58.8% (10-17) behind the arc, 7 turnovers, 22 assists, 17-22 FT's (77.3%)

Defense: 42.3% allowed overall, 36% from 3 (9-25) but a few of those were in garbage time, 9 steals, 7 blocks

Rebounding: 38-29 edge

I can't find anything to nitpick here. Maybe most importantly, Iowa raced out to a big lead and didn't let Michigan back in the game. The Hawks kept their foot on the gas and finished. Well done.

If Iowa has played this good of a game against another good opponent in the McCaffery era, it's been a while, because I have a hard time remembering a better performance than today. The team really played 40 minutes today.
 
Certainly the best I can remember. Michigan just looked overwhelmed. They threw their hands up in the air, turned around, dropped their panties, and said "be gentle."

Iowa wasn't.
 
The Best, in my opinion....

Wolverines were stunned, stumbling like starving Zombies to the locker room to weep and moan......
 
The only game that comes to mind that would even be close would be the UTEP game. I would give the edge to this game due to it being a win over a top 10 team. But I thought I read somewhere on here that UTEP has had a decent season and that game was on a neutral floor and we ran them out of the gym from the start so it felt similar to today..
 
Michigan win isn't even that impressive so I'm told here.... Move on already. :) Dominating win tonight though.
 
Not too many teams in the nation could have beat us tonight. Not even on their best night.
 
The NIT game against Dayton was another game that felt like from start to finish we could do no wrong.
