Moss is good to go

Awesome news. These situations seem like they turn out bad for the hawks more often than not. Can't wait to see how the new guys fit on the team.

He looks so smooth and athletic. He has a ton of potential with his size and skill set. Hope he doesn't fall in love with the 3 ball. Looks like going to the hole is his strength. This team should be pretty darn good yet nobody is showing them any love... I think that's right where Fran wants them to be. :)

I hope Fran isn't the type of coach who wants to be under the radar. One coach with that chicken sh!t mindset is enough.

I agree......... Brand sucks...... Just kidding, just kidding. Fran is a competitor totally and he has his eye on a B1G title every year and will do everything he can to recruit the best players possible to make it happen. Whether he will do so time will tell but if he doesn't it will NEVER be because of a lack of effort. Go HAWKs!!!

For any of fans that are as old as I am, think about the 70 and 80 teams. This team will follow that tradition and if they can get Charlie Moore their upside has no cap. Go Hawks and congrats to Fran for bringing in a very good class.

I agree, Radman. Hot-damn, I'm excited for Hawkeye hoops. But, just in case we don't get Moore (somehow, I think we do) but if we don't, see previous post.

They say Iowa has a lot of other real good incoming freshmen besides Williams and Moss. I see where Williams and Moss are both listed at 6 ft6 so they might still be growing.

Getting Moore would be great but Im with you. With Moss, Williams and Flemming at the three guard spots I don't know that you need a "point."

There all around 6'5 and can get their own offense off the dribble, shoot and pass.

I'm right there with you. I don't think Fleming is quite as much of a playmaker as the other two. But having 4 players between 6'5 and 6'8 on the court that can all run, handle, and shoot is pretty much what I think Fran is going for. In a couple yrs look out...

Agree, hes not going to be as good off the dribble as the other two but not bad and hes a good passer from all accounts.

A lineup with those three, Hutton and Uhl could be absolutely explosive, especially in transition.

I can't remember a time when Iowa has had that many guys at the same time who can get shots off the bounce and create, and they're not bad shooters either.

The key to a group like that is being unselfish with the ball and having great movement.
