..what he's talking about. Below are his predictions for the upcoming NFL season. If you care to add those up that means the NFL collectively will be 268-244 this year, 24 games over .500.

For some reason Cowterd thinks Andy Ried is the greatest coach since Vince Lombardi.
 
My least favorite part about making preseason predictions is making sure the math adds up and remembering who I picked to beat one another in tossup games.

It's a lot easier if you actually put thought into it (not directed at you)

Can't you just go down the schedule, pick W/L then add it up? Seems like that'd be the best way to predict a final record.

An easier way is when you are doing it say for the Big Ten just have all 12 teams schedules out and when you W a game for someone just go to the other team and give them an L right away so you don't mess it up. This way by time you get to the 12th team their schedule is already W and L'ed.
 
That's priceless. I love the 24 games over .500. With 24 additional wins this year, I wonder what the magic number will be for the wild cards?
