When we did try to run in the redzone, we didn't have much luck. From the looks Indiana was giving us ... they weren't going to let themselves get gashed by the run in the red-zone. When the D is in the red-zone, there isn't as much ground for the DBs to defend ... so then it makes it easier to stack more guys against the run.
I thought that Iowa's call to pass the ball out to Morse was a great call ... the problem was that Indiana defended it perfectly. There's a reason why so many teams opt for the fade in the end-zone ... and we tried it several times too. Sometimes a QB is on with the fade ... sometimes he's not. Ricky wasn't ... and that hurt some of our chances right there.
