Looks like Romeo Mcknight, Lance Billings and Cedric Boswell have all committed. That makes 20. I hadnt heard anything about Billings or Boswell and do not know much about them. Hopefully some good speed from the other side of big ten country. Hopefully hawks can land CB Wariboko out of Oklahoma. This class is filling up fast
 


Lance Billings was first team in Division IV in Ohio. Here's an article done on him. Sounds like an electric type player....

"He’s a phenomenal athlete. No matter where he is on the field, he immediately becomes a difference maker,” Clearview coach Mike Collier said. “He’s a jack-of-all-trades and he’s fun to watch.”

“Everyone in the area knows who Lance is and he is always getting double-teamed,” Collier said. “When we can get him in open space, it’s hard for one or even two people to bring him down.”

“I know I’m on the field almost every play because the coaches feel like the team needs me,” he said. “If coach needed me to block and go up and play offensive line, I’d do that too.”
 


These are some great pick ups for Iowa. I think it is great that they have picked up a very good CB. Iowa now has the 21st ranked class in the nation!
 


It's been a great day for sure....this is a nice looking class so far, stay healthy boys and keep working hard on the field and in the classroom...See ya next year...

And just like that Lance Billings is now a 3 star on 247 sports. I can only imagine what he would of got with an OSU offer. It's just weird when a player goes from unrated to a 3 star recruit in the blink of an eye.

ya it is pretty telling. But in the recruiting services defense, there are so many prospects in the country it is hard to get an evaluation on all of them. It isnt uncommon for a prospect to get these site's attention after a P5 school has offered them and then look through the tape and make their evaluation.

Absolutely. It's why people can't just trust that every unrated kid sucks cause a service hasn't watched them yet. The Iowa staff is going after kids that they're evaluating, not the recruiting services. If a kids looks legit but doesn't have any big offers yet for whatever reason, they're trying to take advantage of that and get in there and be the kid's first offer. Gives Iowa a better chance. Just have to trust that they're going after the right kids. I do like the aggressiveness though.
 








Honestly, i'll miss him. Sure, obvious troll, but if you feed them a consistent ration of crap, it begins to dawn on them that trolling is kind of a lame, lonely existence...and they end up going back to playing with their Star Wars action figures.

And all we need are some of the trolls to bogey the 18th and we could have a 3 or 4 way tie setting up one helluva playoff....:p
 




Always like seeing talented Ohio kids coming in with a nice chip on their shoulder from OSU over looking them.
