Mitchell, DMX as he is nicknamed, has been blocking and releasing for passes out of the shotgun on 3rd down for 4-5 games without getting many if any carries. Yesterday there was the called QB draw where CJ fumbled (not a careless fumble but a helmet on the ball) but I would like to see DMX use his skills more in that situation.
Not sure what game it was but the hawks spread the field and DMX got a TD run out of shotgun on 3rd and goal.
Would love to see if DMX could break a draw run when defenses think it is pass and maybe help so down the pass rush.
The Hawk Off line is doing well in pass protection against 4 man rush but most teams are run blitzing and also bringing the pass blitz.
