Missed XP, What could've been...

I stayed away for a couple days so I don't know if this has been talk about but, I believe if that XP is made we hold them on D and win. Not taking the lead was so deflating to me personally, I can only imagine for the players thinking they fought back to take the lead only for it to be missed.

Does anyone else agree that if we make the XP we hold them and win?

Even Stoops said in the postgame that the blocked XP was a big difference for their confidence, and possibly impacted the game.

Okay, can someone explain this XP to me? I thought it was good. Everyone else I talked to thought it was good. The announcers said it was good. What happened? They never showed a replay, so I couldn't figure out what happened.

I agree. On TV, the ball disappeared at the top of the screen before it went over the left goal post. But, it appeared that it would be good. No more mention or replay during the game, and then later, I see people mention that it was blocked. So, what happened?

They said it was blocked on the radio broadcast, I didnt actually get to see it because my cable blacked out for the 4th quarter because of a storm.

I heard that it was blocked, but still went straight and from the camera angle appeared to be good. It just didn't make it to the goal post.

i completely agree. i think if we make the extra point we win. Is there anywhere on the web where we could actually view the extra point? I agree with the others that i thought it was good inside the left upright? Did anyone actually see it get blocked? I must have seen things. I am still confused by this.

I was at the game, sitting around the 30 yard line at that end of the stadium. The ball was blocked, and after the block it kicked up very high in the air. I thought it was going through the uprights, and thought it was going to be the luckiest thing ever. They showed a replay at the game, and it was wide left by a foot or so.

Reading this post just made me want to backtrack on the levels of grief thread. That freaking sucks.
