Okay it's still early but from what we've seen so far, two guys stick out to me as the "most important" players for this team to be successful. Christian Williams and Dom Uhl.

One of these two is going to have to step up and provide some more consistent scoring. Both have the ability to be good defensive players which would clearly be helpful. If both of these two can be "solid" Big 10 players on a nightly basis, I think we can be a tourney team.

Note: hopefully Fran gives them a chance to get rhythm in tonight's game, as he hasn't really played them a ton in our other two easy games. We need these guys to gain some confidence!

I think one of Baer/Wagner/J-Bo are also going to need to make decent contributions when we get into Big 10 play, we can't count on Jok and Cook to score everything every single game.

Williams just isn't going to be a scorer this year. His role will need to be playing solid defense and not turning the ball over

Williams hasn't shown any ability to be a scorer thus far, but IMO Fran hasn't given him much of a chance. The majority of his floor time has been with Jok and Cook, so he has for the most part deferred to them. In the tougher games we aren't going to be able to rely on those two that heavily. Either way, I think he needs to play the majority of the game as he has shown he is a much better defender, and hasn't had difficulties handling the ball or setting up teammates.

Uhl is starting to come on in my opinion. He's played very aggressive the last two games so let's hope that continues. If we really do have confidence in 4/5 bigs, then all of them should be playing extremely aggressive out there and not worrying about fouls.
