Minn at IOWA; Thurs 2/12...Who do Rodents hate?

Lately, when the Hawkeyes play in Canada, errrrrr St Paul, the 'clever' Gopher fans (ok they're dunderheads),
chant, 'WE HATE IOWA'..... it's like the only cheer those rubes can remember.

SO--------I hope the HAWKEYE Fans, who attend the game at Carver on Thursday remember this
& help, Enthusiastically show the Goofers our love, in return.

GO HAWKS !!!!

I've always..without a better word choice..."hated" that chant. And wanted to think up a chant for retaliation. But it always hits me, it is better not to stoop to their level, and preach hate. Us hawkeye fans are better than that. That being said. I ..to the very depth of my soul... want to vomit, projectile style..all over any maroon and yellow colors. Go Hawks!
 
The fact that Minnesota "hates" Iowa is actually kind of sad, because it shows they have no real rivalries. For BB, Iowa has in state rivals like Iowa State and UNI. Within the Big Ten, even though they have clearly had more success of late, I would consider Wisconsin as Iowa's #1 rival. I would almost consider Northwestern, Illinois & Nebraska as more important than the Gophers.

Great big gobs of greasy grimy gopher guts, how about a nice cool drink, varmits, scum, slim, menace to the B1G, you're a disgrace and your varmits, you one of the lowest members of the food chain and you'll probably be replaced by the rat
 
The gopher student section actually chants "we hate Iowa" even when they're playing other teams. Its pretty stupid.
