I keep hearing low-frequency popping as though one of the announcers' mikes is screwed up. Is it just my old war injury kicking up?

Yes, I'm hearing the same thing. It sounded like Jackson had his mic off, and then it almost completely went away.
In a weird way, I expected the officials to say that wasn't a foul.

If anyone tuned into direct tv 665 tonight for the UNI game their audio was terrible. I also heard a pop of some kind in the Iowa game.

Watching the cable feed on my computer and thought the popping was a software or app conflict. Glad to hear it is not.
