Oh heaven forbid!!! The year before Jud Heathcoat and Magic Johnson won the Nat Title MSU played slow down bball the first half at the old fieldhouse. What is so interesting about that? Well Jud spent almost the whole first half standing on the court directing his players around and not one technical. It was a close game.

A lot of loud, lusty booing that game. Just another reason Lute hated the Big 10 refs.
