See Fleck just picked up a QB for '18 as well........ISU's top QB target. His recruiting style is definitely more hype and excitement but that can work effectively on many a youngster. Energetic and relentless are good traits. Will be interesting to see if Mayfield still makes his way to IC as you reported earlier.
Ferentz has always said he likes to capture a good share of his recruits early so it will be interesting to see how quickly they get out of the chute this year with the recruiting process being more of a sprint these days. I would expect MN, NE, ISU, and IL all to be larger threats for local and regional talent than they've been in quite some time as well.
