Michigan not getting Pryor

Was that a blessing for Michigan to not end up with Pryor? He probably would have played last year for them or at least got some PT. Does Forcier end up at Michigan if Pryor did go to Michigan? Im wondering how good Pryor could be if he did and then maybe Michigan could move him to receiver and have Forcier as well along with Robinson.

I think Pryor is Michigan's wet dream. If he goes to Mich, he starts last year and I think the Wolverines finish better than 3-9. That's how badly out of place I think he is in Columbus. RichRod's offense would have turned him into a bigger, faster version of Pat White. I don't know if that would have affected either Forcier or Robinson's decision, or if either of those two would be redshirting this season if Pryor had gone to UM.

Just be glad he didn't because Pryor, in that offense, scares the hell outta me. That's why I'm hoping that OSU continues to try to jam Pryor into that pro offense until we play them. Maybe during bowl prep they can put Pryor into the spread and smoke someone in the Cap One bowl...

I agree and I'll add that not only would Michigan probably be better, but OSU would have a QB in there that fits their system. In other words, Pryor going to OSU set both teams back a little IMO.

I always thought Pryor at UM would have been like a freaky mix of Pat White and Tim Tebow: all the size and all the speed. Granted, maybe the reason he isn't succeeding is a brain/work ethic thing. What would have been nice about Pryor at UM would have been that we would have heard about Pryor just as much and we never would have had to hear about Forcier.

I never really thought of it that way, but that makes good sense. Tressel, with a "normal" QB, wouldn't have had to bastardize his offense around one athlete.

Pryor went to OSU because Pryor wants to go to the NFL, and Tressel convinced him that he wouldn't go to the NFL running a spread read like Michigan runs.

And it is true, Michigan does not run a pro system. But they do run a system that would benefit Pryor. Frankly, Pryor at OSU works out well for everyone but OSU and UM.
