Yep and the rumor is People's is heading there as well.

This is why you are playing Russian roulette when committing to Michigan if you aren't a top 100 kid. He will kick you to the curb when the top ranked guys decide late.....That is supposedly why AJ Dillion a 4* RB just decommitted and pledged to BC, as Michigan is "all in" with the #1 RB in the nation Harris, he didn't want to wait and his chair to be stolen out from under him by Harbaugh.
 
If Michigan get's Peoples-Jones tomorrow also that'd pretty much take Michigan off Martins options They'd have 3 really good receivers for next yr on board. So we'll know tomorrow if it's a two horse race with ND pretty much. I like our chances.
 
And yet Martin announces today he will take more visits in January. I suspect an MSU visit is on the horizon and this is still far from over.

If true, do you get the feeling that if he comes to IA it's strictly a fall-back position for him?

Sure starting to feel that way, and the way we throw the ball can you blame him, GOOD WR don'[t want to come to Iowa to block!

Seriously?? Damn it. Does he have a report with that Rocky QB from WDM that's going to MSU? What a ball buster that'd be if he were to end up there geez.
 
It almost feels like he's looking for reasons to not come to Iowa. I mean there's obviously nothing he doesn't already know about Iowa to be known. So it's like he wants to just make sure the other places aren't more gooder better for him... Which as far as a receiving WR goes of course. Just about everywhere could guarantee him more passes thrown his way. Iowa can offer early PT but what good is that if he's just blocking most of the time. I dunno I felt pretty good about our chances when I thought it was just down to ND and us. But if MSU is in the mix with a QB coming in that he may already know a little bit, and he has 3 more possible official visits he may take I just don't like it...

I agree he is going to be good......It is just all the drama with his recruitment. If he does end up coming to Iowa I really hope he is a difference maker.

I don't think there really has been much drama at all. He's just been really quiet and it's a position of need and he's in our backyard

I agree the drama is only coming from us measly impatient posters. I'm public enemy #1 too. I need to get a life... He's the opposite of an Eno or Juan Harris. I think not being used to that on top of him being a stud WR and hometown kid just creates the perfect bubble of a story...

No. I actually think this kid is really truly undecided. He knows Iowa. He likes Iowa, but he just wants to have all options to consider before he makes up his mind. He knows the Iowa offer will always be on the table no matter what.

Personally, when all is said and done, I think he's a Hawk, but it won't be until mid-January at the earliest.
 
Quick sidebar, has anybody checked out this Tarik Black kid? Holy cow....

If you haven't checked him out, don't watch his tape. The fact that we can't get a player like that is too depressing.....
 
I hate to say it but the clowns get better receivers than we do. Sheesh that terrible. :( I hope we get OM but I can understand why he possibly wouldn't want to come here.
